The "Balaka" boxes are made of creamy white stoneware and glazed on the inside with a shiny transparent glaze. They are designed as a trio, with the largest and smallest interlocking. These irregularly-shaped, rounded boxes are ideal for holding jewellery or small treasures such as stones or shells. Black abstract shapes are drawn on the outside, covering their surfaces and creating a dialogue. Each piece is totally unique, crafted with the greatest love for the material. They are carefully handcrafted by ILOE in her shared workshop in Barcelona.
